I recently got acrylic nails, I have hand then on 3 days now and the 4th finger on my right hand was caught on something and it really is painful! It's oozing with pus and was bleeding when I caught it. I have it cut down and taped up at the minute but how do I get the acrylic off without hurting myself anymore?? Any suggestions will be a god send!!!

I’d recommend getting medical advice first. You might need antibiotics

The pus would indicate there is an infection there. It's red too.
Book a doctors appointment as soon as you can as it's likely to need antibiotics.
In the mean time soak the finger in slightly salty WARM water twice a day to encourage the pus to come out. (If you have an antiseptic wash such as tea tree or hibiscrub, this would also do.
Apply a dressing after soaking and gently drying to protect the injury.
Hope it feels better soon.

I've seen an urgent care specialist already and they said to cut the nail down and they gave me plasters to cover my finger, I'm not sure what else to do

If you’ve already had medical advice then I’d follow that until it’s a bit better before attempting to remove it. It looks too painful to remove and no nail tech would touch it in that condition I’m afraid.

We also aren’t qualified to give medical advice on here or in person.
