Hiya...Its difficult because i know from threads on here that nails of certain styles are preferred than those from the uk....

I personally think that those nails are too long and unbalanced.....but again i know thats the norm in some places.

I think there is room for improvement in the refinement of the nails...the side walls and nail surface are uneven but that will come with practise.

Well done for posting x

If it helps have a look through the gallery on here and hopefully you will see why i have said about the length and balance...here is a link... http://www.salongeek.com/gallery/browseimages.php?do=searchresults&searchid=8775

Hi hun,
Thankyou for posting your work for us to see,

the 'style' of the nails is not to my personal taste so I won't comment on that,
But other things I pick up that may help you, if I point them out are...

On the first pic I can clearly see the tips on the nail plate, these need blending more until you can no longer see the join where they are applied.
Secondly the overlays look quite uneven (are these gel ?)
The overall shape needs refining to produce a lovely smooth surface.

On the last photo some of the tips look a little wide for the nails,
I think a more curved smile line looks much prettier
It elongates the finger and the nail plate leaving a slender looking enhancement.

A search on here for 'pre tailoring tips' will help you hun, lots and lots of advice will come up about making that tip work better for you.

I found the tutorial section on here invaluable when I was training (and I still do now)
There are so many helpful articles there to help you and you could print them off and read them in your free time,
or whip one out while you are practicing to help you along (I still do this now too)

Artwork aside, nails are still meant to flatter or enhance the wearer's hands. It only takes a minute to see that these would flatter more if they were more in balance, ie: the white tips further down on the nail with a little deeper smile.
Also, the pictures show what refining still needs to be done, sidewalls need filed and straightened, the tops of the enhancements need filed to smooth away all the dips. I don't mean to be overly-critical, it's just that the way you have taken the pictures, the topcoat you've used shows every flaw in the "line of light" of the enhancements. Maybe work more on refining your enhancements so they look more "finished"
