I have a client who is originally from Arizona she was home last month and brought me a copy of nail magazine as there was an article about rebuilding a toe nail and she is keen for me to do this.

After looking through the mag and checking out the website I was amazed at the different styles, colours and variety of nails worn by people in different countries.

She is my only client who will do anything different from the normal pink/white with her enhancements.

What I wondered why do you think that British people are a lot more reserved about what they wear on their nails?

If you have clients who do have something different what is the favorite thing glitter, colour or art?

Or is it just me who has clients who wont change

If anyone has any of these nail mags they don't want give me a shout I would be keen to have a look at some more:hug:

Are you meaning mainly nail art or different nail shapes??

I do all sorts of different nail shapes but nail art??? No one here wants to pay for it and if you get fancy it costs!!

Simple nail art is asked for like coloured tips and glitter tips etc and the odd bit of bling but 3D?? Forget it .. no one is interested beyond the odd finger. Most people have a life to live and it just doesn't fit in for them nor do they want to spend the time or money it costs ... but in Russia for instance they love to flash the cash and pay for it. Everyones different as you say.

That and the amount of intricate art that seems to be on all the nails.

Personally I am so glad that it is not that popular I much prefer a beautiful set of either pink and white or a natural set which I have to say is getting much more popular since the new CND opaque powders.

I do thing the cost and wearability has a lot to do with it and in my area age is a big factor as 80% of my clients are over 50.
