Nail disorder/disease??

Would any of you nail experts be able to help me?? My friend developed excessive lines, ridges as well as pitting on his nails...he also struggles with eczema. The disorder at first only showed on a few nail but is now present on all of them. ANY advice??

I was wondering if it could be psoriasis, sufferers often have nails affected, ridges and thickening, if this is so your friend would need to see their Doctor for treatment. hth
