Hi Geeks

Its my birthday today & feeling brave as I don't post many threads on here but today is the day.

I love the nail foils but find just using a top coat to seal the design, the foil comes off really easy after a couple of days.

Has any of you used a uv top coat over foils and did it work. I want to use a floral foil over a polish. I mainly use L&P on myself as I had a reaction to gel a long while ago so dont use gel on myself. Can foils be encassed in l&P

any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Cant help re foils, but HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! XX

You can overcome the foil rubbing off by reapplying a top coat every couple of days.

I believe that yes foils can be sealed within L&P just the same as cracked ice and candy wrappers and 'dollar bill' nails are done.

I haven't done it myself, but have seen the results.

hth's

Can't hurt to try:green:

just keep topping up your top coat, happy birthday chick

My answer would be..when in doubt, try it!! Experiment! you never know until you try.:wink2:

Happy happy birthday!!!!!!

happy birthday

i have once applied foils and then a clear uv gel afterwards

it worked fine for me

I used to apply foils encased in L&P to Mrs Geek and they looked gorgeous.

I prepped the nails.
Applied a thin layer of resin to the nail and activated.
Then I applied the bits of foil
Lastly, I applied a thin layer of L&P using Crystal Clear powder.

She wore them to a Creative BIG do in Las Vegas and they went down very well.
