Nail help

Can anyone tell me what's wrong with my nail? And what can I do to make it better? Please excuse the chipping polish! It is a little tender but not painful.

Have you done lots of removing soaking off etc lately?
Using acetone?
Mine went a bit like this when I kept practising shellac, soaking off etc
Either that or you have an allergy or intolerance to something!?

No I don't do nails. I popped over from hair.
And I don't color with out gloves.

Probably best going to GP - looks swollen and red which may indicate an infection?
