Nail polish peeling off acrylics

Hi there,
Can nail polish peel off acrylic nails?

Just had a client message to say her varnish is peeling off and I painted them like 5 mins ago... Is this possible?

Highly unlikey, I love that polish adheres to overlays like concrete, it very very rarely chips, some free-edge wear might be experienced over the 2/3 period between rebalances but not peeling off. Unless....you did it far too thick and it's not dried yet.

Thank you for your response it wasn't thick so it can't be that, I think she wasn't prepared to tell me she'd smudged them
