Thanks for reading this. I am a newbie so i dont know the market so much.

Has anyone tried and tested any of the nails printers?

Do you know if there are any good?

I found a thread but it was more than 2 years old..

Im thinking to get one but not sure if i will be able to get my money back.

Not sure how many women do patterns and therefore how much money i will get.

Do you guys put fake nails as well?Is there a demand for them or do most get their own nails done? how much does it cost you to buy them and how much do you charge for putting them?

Any help is very much appreciated

After the first response i though ill make this a bit clearer.

My apologies if anyone was offended about the fake nails question.

I know nothing about the nail business. My younger sister did the bio sculpture course and we are looking into opening her a salon. As far as i know she doesn't do air brushing designs and she does some patterns. We thought that if we get her the machine will give her an edge and will save her time from doing the patterns and the result will always be good.

First things first .. welcome to thenailgeek forum of salongeek.com.

For your first lesson on industry jargon  I will say that none of us do 'fake' nails .. those anyone can buy at Boots.

Here on thesalongeek.com we are made up of professionals, qualified experienced technicians and qualified inexperienced nail technicians as well as those like yourself who have not had nail training but would like to get into the business.

Our business is permanent Natural Nail Enhancement not fake nails. It is a profession and a highly skilled one.

The nail printer you are speaking of is very costly and it will take along time to recoup your money but if you know there is a call for it where you live then it may be well worth doing. Only you know whether there is a call for it in your area or not.
If you are going to spend 500 pounds ona nail printer such as the 'dreamagic' printer I'd spend it first on a good quality nil course so youhave something good toprint on.

Do you have a salon .. work in one .. what is your area of expertise? Where do you plan to use this printer?

Look around the site and see how much info there is here and enjoy.
