Nail tech course

Hi there im new to this site stumbled across it looking for courses. I would like to be a nail tech but there are no college courses in my area or near (Swansea, South Wales) just wondering which of the dustance courses are any good, my main interest is in acrylic tips and sculpted nails. I have no experience at all, any info greatfully received. Thanks

I am also new too and when I came on here I asked exactly the same question!

A lot of people told me to go with Sweet Squared on here as they have a lot of good reviews.

I personally did a search on google asking for Nail Technician Courses in your area. If you find one you are interested in you could probably come on here and see if anyone has put any good/bad reviews about it x

I trained at college and Essential nails home learn it is all done at home with a tutor on DVD going through all technique step by step and you will receive a recognised certificate at the end.

yer if you ring sweet squared they will find you a course in your area i rang them when i was looking and they were very helpfull the numbers 08452106060.

be carefull if doing home courses to get a good course as i did one and it was so unhelpfull and ended up having to do a course with someone else after so payed double the money i should have, but if you ring the above number they will be able to help im sure!!

My local college doesn't offer a part time course thats suitable so I'm doing an Essential Nails course which is perfect if you have other commitments such as family or work, you can do it in your own time and at your own pace. There is support either by email or telephone and there is also a great group on here too if you need any help :green:
