Nail-tech dilemma

i thought i was enrolled in this local beauty college where im at, because i want to be a nail tech, well i was supposed to be going to cosmotology course (that's just over a year long) and now i need help because i dont know what to do. i found out today that the campus i was enrolled at is closing, why would they bother to get me showed around and started on all that paperwork and all that other stuff school counselors do to enroll students, when theyre closing!? i told the school counselor i want to do nails mostly, im not a big fan of styling hair but they insisted i wont get a job or get paid good unless im a full cosmotologist, even if all i want to do is nails, so theyre giving me the run around and im trying to find a different school to enroll at but im on a deadline, because most of them start in jan/feb i thought i was all geared up and ready but what a waste of time! im in denver by the way, if anyone can reccomend a good school in denver colorado for nail tech id be stoked. i really am in desperate need of good advice on finding a nail tech/cosmotology school.

Contact one of the manufacturers: Creative, EZ Flow, NSI, etc....do a google search and call the 800 number for a local training foundation course. Its your best bet at this point.

if i contact one of those CND,EZ flow, NSI, ect will i get trained with a nail tech license or have to go to an actual beauty college for that or do i have to go to nail and beauty school before them? im not sure how it works im so confused

Contact your State Board and you will get all the information you need.

Sorry to hear that!
But maybe it was for the best. If they were trying to get you to enroll as a cosmetologist when you specifically said nail tech, it sounds like they were just trying to get you to pay more.
