hi i've done a nail technician course recently at nails and beauty training course and it was a two day course where you learned how to do acrylic , gel silk and fibreglass i enjoyed the course but i need a better course because i can not do the nail like i want to i didn't even get told how to do the infills .
I have just found a college in leeds called the central college has anyone heard of or has been on this course ??

Hope someone can help

I haven't heard of nor been on the course in Leeds. I did a nail enhancement course as a unit in my beauty therapy training and I have to say I didn't learn a thing on it. No way could I have added nail enhancements as a treatment that I could have carried out safely and effectively. I booked myself onto a five day foundation course with Creative and have to say it was money well spent! Try giving a few nail training establishments a call - I can't comment on any others as I have only been with Creative but try giving sweet squared a ring (they are in Leeds too) Good luck with whichever company you choose to go with :)

oh...forgot to say, their phone number is 0845 210 6060

thank you i have been looking into the creative course

do you need to do a manicure and pedicure first do you know ?

 Rach XXX

I finished my beauty therapy course about 3 months ago and really all you need to do is practice practice practice, its like in anything. BUT I don't know how you could possibly learn to be a nail tech and carry it out confidently after 2 days of training, is that what your finding? I'm from melbourne, australia and the nail tech trainees at my school did their course for a few weeks and that was the short course!! Have a look around at schools and the course outline, it sounds like you're really interested to learn. Thats great!! Goodluck!!
