Nail techs how long do you wear your nails

i was just wondering does it really matter how long your nails are and long as you can work with them? i have a nail contest coming up and i dont wanna let my nails get some of my points taken off. thanks

I think it's a personal preference. As long as they don't hinder you from doing your job, it shouldn't matter.

I've always kept mine at an 'active length' but that's just my preference.

I agree, it seems to be preference. I have seen people work with all kinds of nails! Personally mine are an active length with a squoval shape, suits my hands and don't usually get in the way!

I keep mine fairly long and don't seem to have much of a problem. i think that if you can work with them then you should carry on as you are unless it's a no-no when doing a contest maybe mum or Geeg are the best to answer this. :o
