Hi,
Does anyone have any tips! on nail tip applications? I am looking for someone to give me some ideas on how to cut my time down as I find this is quite a lengthy process. I am a Calgel technician and I actually prefer scultping a tip rather than putting on a false tip but I would like to learn how I can speed up the process so I can enjoy the treatment more rather than find it a chore! Thanks x

Pre-tailoring your tips helps a LOT. Cut out the excess of the 'well' with curved scissors so that you're only adhering the minimum amount of the tip. You can pre-buff a little if it helps you.

What problems are you currently getting?

I cant stand the blending of the nail tip, I am filing in the wrong place and then before I know it I have on occasions gone through the tip which has then started to come off and I need to really apply a new tip! I have been cutting the well of the nail but havent buffed before I put the nail on as I am not sure if that will actually help me! In my training I cut my cuticle which has put me off doing the blending altogether as I am so scared i will do it to a client!

Have you tried the "well less" tips. They take no time at all. Before I started using them it took me ages to to tip but these are fantasic. They only need minimal blending if any at all. HTH:)
