Hi
Am looking to buy a nail trainer and the few i have seen vary between £150 and £240
Are they worth the price and does anyone know where I can get one fairly cheap ish?!!

Many thanks

Definetly I have had mine for 5 yrs I have practiced new systems, Got my times down, practiced late at nite when no one would model for me, done crazy nails on it before making mistakes on myself, brought it to work on quiet days to generate intrest and even now its in my new salon and the girls use it for the same reasons.
It can be hard to tip and yes you need to buy replacement tips but they are the only downsides to having one.
I love mine and reccomend everyone to use one.

yes deff a good buy have you tried e bay hun

There is no way I would have had the confidence to enhance my first human set of nails if I hadn't had the nail trainer as a practice model...

And it doesn't complain when it takes 4 hours... Neither does it need bathroom breaks or snacks...

It may be expensive but it is absolutely worth it. One of the best investments you will make. :)

I purchased mine on ebay, it was brand new in box. Unfortunalty you have to be very careful with ebay. There are some bargains to be had but I ordered x2 hands and I only received one, luckily I got my money back through PayPal but was a good lesson.

£240 . Who is selling them for that price? That's quite steep. I payed £130 plus vat for mine brand new. I do think they are a helpful investment though.

Thanks all, thats helped me make my mind up....I shall soon be the owner of a nail hand!
Just another question....is it better to go woth the Essential Nails model? Or will cheaper do just as well?
(Think i already know the answer here.....!)

They are if you use it .
I bought my daughter one for practising after she did her ezflow acrylic course and it has hardly been out of the box.

I did have a look at eby but decided with new direct from essential nails because a lot of the ones on ebay were just the hands, so when i weighed up buying the tips as extra and other bits and the p and p I thought it was the best option.

Also they are quite easy to sell on again so eventually thats what i'll do if she doesn't use it.I think she will though when she gets into using the ezflow coloured and glitter powders.More practise on the basics first though :).

get one deffo!! mine is awesome and will never blab about my embarrassing attempts at nails when i first started haha

You will have days where you have an urge to try something or just have a practice and that can come at an odd hour lol the nail trainer comes into its own then. I recommend you getting one. They are not an industry con that makes you pay out loads of money. You will find you will use it alot. You can find them alot less expensive than what you first thought also. Just need to shop around:) x

Great stuff
Thanks for your help!!
