could someone tell me if it is worth purchasing the nail trainer for practice.
i know there is probably no substitute for a real live person, but i am really struggling to find models at the moment :(
 
Id say yes.

They are the next best thing to a real nail and hell of a lot better to practise on than anything else I have come accross.

Here are the only negatives ive come accross:
  • Many of the nails are harder to sculpt on.
  • Because they are plastic nails... tip adhesive takes much longer to set.
  • If you file like a WWF champ (see Hulk Hogan) the nails will pop off during said filing.
  • If you leave the room and come back, the Claw... er... I mean... you eill find that the nail trainer's fingers are usually mysteriously arranged in offensive manners.
  • They are lousy tippers.
