ARE NAIL TRAINERS A GOOD IDEA OR IS IT BEST TO PRACTISE ON CLIENTS X:hug:

BOTH ... nail trainer for techniques (filing, blending, applications) ... clients for nails.

Live clients who will sit endlessly while you practise techniques do not grow on trees; they want full sets.

The nail trainer doesn't mind whether you finish a set or not. Doesn't mind if all you want to do is apply tips or do one perfect nail.

Thank you, never thought of it that way:hug:

I have a nail trainer its worth its weight in gold to....me!!
I spend hour's on my nail trainer perfecting tip application, blending and doing as many nail tips as I can, its also....GREAT for doing nail art!!

I would be lost without my nail trainer they are the best thing any nail tech could buy imo:green:

Hi I have two they are attached to my stepper so when I practise its like am doing a set on nails on a live person lol
But the stepper is redundant lol:lol:

Can anyone tell me whether I should buy a new nail trainer or a second hand one off ebay or somewhere like that?

If I buy a new one where do I go? Sweet Squared?

I need one for my CND foundation course that I start in Jan next year :)
Thanks
Gail

I bought a second hand one from ebay. It took me a while to win one but I did in the end (still fairly expensive but I set myself a maximum amount to spend on it) and what a godsend it has been.

I start my foundation course in Novemeber and I managed to get a nail trainer from Ebay..I think it was about £40 but it has hardly been used. I definately wouldn't buy liquids and powders etc from the bay because you never know whether you're buying original products. I notice there's quite a few trainers listed there so you never know, you might grab a bargain :green:
