Hi all anyone give me any advice on the following....I have a client in at 1pm for a french mani toe & finger nails she is also having a spray tan which I will do after nails but it has suddenly dawned on me that her nails may not be dry enough and the tan will get on her nails as it will be tacky still she has to be away for 3pm to collect her children from school I am slightly in a panic as she is going to the Dorchester London for the Make A Wish Foundation charity evening I cant get her in any earlier as I have clients in until then. Any advice please........

Ok probably a really dumb thing to say, but why cant you do the spray tan first?

Hi,
Could she not just have a file and polish, with french finish ?......Then you could do that after the spray tan, being very careful not to touch her skin........taking tan off onto your own fingertips:eek:
I personally would not do a mani & pedi proir to a tan as all the creams etc would stop the tan taking.....Soooo just the file and polish is what I would recommend, if she really wants the treat of the pedi maybe she would come back in for that......depending on how long she wants her tan to last, as the exfoliator will take the tan off:eek:.
Lets us know how you go on.
Best wishes.
Lotsa luv x

Have u got any UV protector for the nails ?
xxx

Hi guys just got a break before my 1pm arrives. I am just doin mini mani french polish on both toes & fingers as I advised creams etc would create barrier prior to tan. So you think it would be ok to do nails etc before but just mini ( cuticles file polish ) I do have glaze n go, Airshield & ibd Ultra seal. But have tried this before with the Ultra seal and it chipped off after a day was on natural french polish - only meant for acrylic, gel or wraps so reluctant to use again.

Hi,
I would be tempted to put Glaze n Go over the polish, but remember to tell client that she can't take it off with remover........hopefully she just re books to be back in with you in a couple of weeks.
Best wishes
