My mums has false nails on atm, which she got done at a NSS nail place.

I am trying to transfer her over to bio sculpture and will be doing her nails 2nite - how do I get the old ones off - I know how to with bio sculpture but not the nails she has?

Thanks

file as much as you can off and then place her fingers in acetone. These might take awhile to get off. I have a soak off bowl which keeps my acetone warm if not soak some cotton wool/lint free pads in acetone place on each finger and wrap in foil. The acrylic will turn to gel and file off each time. Her nails might be paper thin afterwards and very sensative.

You may find - as i did when i'd been practicing on myself and wrecked my nails - that if they are bad the gel may not stay on. It peeled off after a couple of days, but that could just be me!:)

Make sure you know what you are doing. Bio is quite a weak gel and if she is used to the strength of acrylic, she may end up ..... well .... UM .....either doubting or hating you after the end result.

You really should explain in detail the differences between gel and acrylic and what she should expect.
