If you're involved in the nail industry in even the smallest way, you'll know that this news is kind of a big deal. Doug Schoon, a.k.a. The Scientist and Samuel Sweet a.k.a. The Geek have buddied up to organised a week-long speaking tour that promises to be a one-of-a-kind event.
The pair are pretty much the nail industry's equivalent of One Direction and if you want tickets to see them do their thing, you'll need to be quick.
Samuel Sweet, founder and director of Sweet Squared, has been in the nail industry since he was 21. After very quickly climbing the ranks at CND, he became part of the lead training team and one of the most sought after international speakers for the industry. In 1999, he was a founding member of Team Creative (now Team CND) and of course, we know him best as Grand Master Geek, the founder of our very own site salongeek.com - the world's largest online forum for salon professionals *proudly sticks out chest*.
Doug Schoon is know internationally as a scientist, author and educator and with over thirty years experiences in the cosmetic, beauty and personal care industry, they don't come much more knowledgeable than Doug. For nearly twenty years, Doug was CND's Chief Scientist and headed up the R&D laboratory, QA and Field Testing/Evaluation departments.
Between the two, there isn't much they don't know when it comes to nails so, make some time in your diary and get your tickets now. The dates are as follows:
