Hi
I have been working with Shellac for 6 months and love the product.
I have recently had an issue with one of my clients - the gel is lifting from the free edge up to the mid plate area. It is not always lifting off the same fingers. I have reapplied and checked my method. I am using genuine products and am curing using the correct lamp and correct buttons. The nail plate is free of cuticle remover and the plate clean. I was trained to use acetone to clean the plate - but after reading a previous thread will change to scrub fresh. I haven't experienced this issue with other clients and I am trying to eliminate possible problems.
Has anyone ever had a problem with Nailtiques formula 2. My client is a regular user of the product and I am wondering whether this could have caused a barrier on the the nail plate stopping the gel from adhering properly?
Any advice gladly received. This has really knocked my confidence.
Kind regards
Kat
