Petrolium....a mineral oil, so it sits on the skin rather than being absorbed into the skin....petrolium products are barriers not moisturisers....or am I totally wrong?

This is what the Waitrose website says about it:

Made with only the purest ingredients, including vanilla, lavender and camomile, Waitrose baby is designed to protect and soothe a baby's delicate skin and hair. All products are free from parabens, SLSs, artificial fragrances and colours.
Protecting Bottom Butter

A rich, camomile-scented blend of olive oil and vanilla essential oil, to nourish the skin and help protect against irritation.

using some hemorrhoid creams around the eyes has been going on for ages,I supose it would depend on the ingredients.
