Does anyone use natural color acrylic, and if so what for , as when i tried it it just looked cloudy, and horrible x

its a tip color, so it should look cloudy:) not meant for the nail bed, its supposed to replicate the color of your natural nail free edge. it also works great for mixing glitter!

oh thanks, just thought i was doing something wrong x

its very useful for using over white tips.
it allows the white tip to show through perfectly but takes away the trashy brashness of them, and gives them a more convincing 3d look.

I haven't tried that but it sounds like a good idea! you mean you lay the natural color over the white and then go about using pink on the nail bed as usual? to sort of diffuse the brightness of the white? I have clients that ask for "softer" looking pink&whites so normally I just blend my smile line a bit and then pull the pink up over the white tip to the freeedge. I've thought about maybe mixing some natural into the white but I haven't got a chance to experiment with that yet!

Natural acrylic done properly looks so nice!

Natural Acrylic is great for doing a natural sculpt nail instead of using a natural or clear tip.....
you can creat a very natural looking nail from start to finish, i've never used it as a tip colour,
Always been taught to use it for natural sculpts instead of clear.
I use it on my mother and the everyday person can't see that they are nail extensions, look like the real thing

im not sure what you mean, do you use the natural color for the entire nail? I usually use it to sculpt a natural color free edge and then apply clear or pink to zones 2&3, whenever I see that cloudy clearish color on the nail beds I shudder lol, im sure it looks good when done well, you should post a pic:)

its also good over natural tips with a pink for the rest of the nail.

i make a soft white with 2 parts natural to 1 part white.

its really usefull.

thank you everyone x

i just did my own nails with the natural tip color with clear irridescent mylar flakes and rhinestone on the ring finger. sorry my pics are so blurry, all i have a phone camera, but im a terrible photographer anyway:irked: lol hope you can at least see the color though:green:

I'm intrigued... I've never seen this natural powder before, where can I get some/who makes it? I'm usng NSI at the moment. I think this would be great as I'm practising sculpts at the mo :)

It depends what make of acrylic you are using, EzFlow Natural is not realy cloudy it's just more of a transparent beige instead of crystal clear....so it looks like a natural nail as our nails are a natural beige colour .......
Will post a pic next friday as i have to refill my mums nails at the moment i don't have any pics

i used young nails natural core powder, but i also use the NSI attraction system and they have a "soft white" color that is more natural looking than the radiant white. you might try mixing it with a bit clear to get the right "natural" color:) let me know how it works if you decide to try it, i'll try it when im ready for a fill and see how it works!

I made my own using Gigi's special mix

peeppaws, can you share?:green:

You can make your own as i do
I use it to create a natural free edge on sculpts or the lunula

just a quick question......id love to try gigi's mix, but i have no idea how to mix acrylics. do u mix them dry or wet? etc. im new to acrylics but i would love to know how to do this natural look as ive been asked alot about it.

thanks

Hello all, I mix my own natural coloured acrylic using soft white, clear and a smidge of yellow acrylic sounds vile but all mixed together it looks very similar to the natural nail colour xx
