Hi i have a client who is a base 6/7 with a lot of warmth in it she has it short with very little grey at the sides which she gets touched up every few weeks.
she is now looking for a few hightlights put in wants it too stand out but be natural at same time?
any suggestions.
i was just thinking of maybe putting in a few foils of 10.1 with 30 vol?
her hair is also ver fine!
thanks rosie

if she wants them to b noticeable but natural I would go with something like a 10/0 because if she has natural warmth this will show through. But I guess it spersonal preference, I'd prob rather work with natural warmth than try to cancel it out with the 10/1. you just gonna scatter a few throught the sides and the top? xx

i thought maybe the 10 on its own would come out too warm and therefore look brassy?

Has the hair that you are going to be hi-liting already had tint on it , because if it has it wont lift .
with 10.1 and 9% you will get an ultra natural hi-lite, unless you are going to do slices i think that they wont show . Id probably use a hi-lift with 12%

If your client has a tint on her hair 10/0 won't lift it,i would advise u use a very mild bleach with colour touch 4% and they should come up to a nice honey blonde warm enough to blend with 6/7 but bright enough to show.
