Dear All,

I run a salon and I'm looking for a new good quality permanent colour that wont dry out my clients hair.

Does anyone know about a cheap but good quality salon permanent colour brand?

If you have staff, you need to also look at what additional support your Rep/colour house can offer in terms of ongoing training and support.
Also, you need to look at their matching demi/semi range for touch ups.

I have found that permanent colors with ammonia dry out the hair. I wouldn't go for cheap. Charge an extra 5$ to cover the better product. I use Essencity by Schwarzkoph to cover grey. It covers well but I do leave it on maybe longer than a permanent color. Coarse hair i leave it on for an hour from when i start applying. Fine hair 50 minutes.
It doesn't lift extremely well but typically i use highlights if i want the hair lighter.
