Need desperate advice! Which extensions are better?

Hair extensions are basically lengths of real or artificial hair which are closely attached to an individual’s scalp; they are used to add length and volume to one’s own hair. As mentioned before they are constituted of either real human hair which are usually procured from East Europe and parts of Southeast Asia, or artificial hair. Real hair is usually available in two categories viz Remy and Virgin hair. Remy hair is hair in which all the hair ends are curved towards a singular direction, thereby making them easy to comb and maintain. Whereas virgin hair is human hair which have never been chemically processed or colour.

Virgin hair is extremely rare. Artificial hair, is relatively cheaper than authentic human hair, are easier to maintain and can be used for short term purposes like a single evening or night out. But unlike the real hair extensions they cannot be styled according to preferences. Moreover most of the artificial hair extensions are applied through the application of glue. Continuous application of glue might be very harmful for your hair, as glue contains chemicals which react with your eye, causing irreparable damage to them.

Hi microbead bonding are the best as they don't damage your hair at all. Your hair probably is growing, but your so used to it being long you don't notice it growing.

Hi thanks for your reply! I have Remy hair at the moment, although they are terribly knotty no matter how much conditioner I use! By glue, does the keratin bond method using a hot rod count as glue?
