hi there ive been driving my self crazy im really interested in doing nails i have brought so much stuff to learn and do my course which i start in sept at college!
but i want to do a fast track course which is goner cost i have found a few on the internet but i need to make sure i do the right one and not a fake ect.. im located in nuneaton and need some help in finding the right course and costs :) the cheapest i have found is birmingham which is 255 said they have offer on at moment , and they have there own insurance with advise, which is 37.57 for the year! pound for 5 days that covers everythink from manicures to acrylics but sounds to good to be true!

Hi, if I were you I would update your profile first as not many people will reply if nothings written about you.
That does seem awfully cheap, especially if it covers "everything". Not mentioning any prices, I paid way more than double that for just one course, then that again for the second course. Who is it you are training with? And what qualification is it exactly you come out with? You need to check this as recognised insurers might not cover you if its a qualification they dont accept. Hth :)

i dont no how to update and add pictures ? sorry new to site !

when something seems to good to be true then it usually is. the site doesn't give much info?
there is no real "fast track" course. my advice is to look for quality training rather than the cheapest and go with a reputable company. do a search on this site and read up on others experiences and go from there.
good luck

You have been given some sage advice, that I implore you to follow.

I live in an area where educational choices are abysmal, and the 'best' of what there is..... doesn't compare to the 'worst' in your neck of the world.

Please do yourself a HUGE favour, and take a good quality course.
If I had that option...

"Cheap" is exactly that. In the end, because you won't have learned what you need to, you'll end up wasting hours and hours and tonnes of product getting things 'wrong'. AND THEN only to realize that you'll need to spend more money on yet ANOTHER course.. so what you spent in the first place will have been flushed down the loo.

I know budgets can be a struggle.. I'm a stay at home mom of 2 with hubby working 2jobs to pay the bills.
BUT in the end.. you'll be happier for it.

hth's

what would be a good course to do as i thought nsi was good and that second course i was goner do isnt cheap , im really sorry i havent a clue i have only really thought about starting up a week ago and have read up on so much since then , i have booked my place at college and start sept i just wanted to no if there was any course that is just as good and a bit quicker to get me started before then :)

Who knows I may get jumped on for "recommending".... but why not contact CND...they are great and provide above excellent training. If you contact Sweet Squared on 0845 210 6060, they will be able to give you advise on training courses etc... hth xx

thank you ive just phoned for more information ect.. next date of course is 20april :) are they better than nsi then?

Couldn't agree more, I have done all my training with Creative (L&P, Gel, manicure and pedicure) and it was all absolutely brilliant. I was also offered a good rate foe insurance at the end of my foundation course.

The most important thing to remember is that they offer ongoing support after your course and this is very important - HTH

I am definately not commenting on that, because we could start a war  ! Everybody uses different products, and sweat by the ones they use. Its just all down to personal taste and what works for one may not work for another. Good luck and hope you do well :) xx

Creative (CND) have won many awards for the education that they provide and are the only nail company to win these awards so that should give you a good indication of the high standard of the education,

when people pay for cheap courses they only regret it as many of them come away with no idea of how to do nails and then go book for better education and spend even more money,
it is cheaper to go with a good trainer first time around,
they offer lots of support after you have completed your course too,

this site has been made and is maintained by Mr Samuel Sweet (Owner of Sweet Squared) so that there was an educational resource for all nail technicians after their training and over the years it has evolved and now helps therapists in any treatment area,
after you have done quite a bit of reading on here you will find that CND is very popular and highly respected, hth

I use NSI and love it others may disagree!! what system one person likes some one else may hate i think its down to personal choice tbh!! I deffo agree with everyone else thou the first one seems to good to be true. Get your training with a reputable company hun.

what course are you planning on doing in college in sept?? the only reason i ask is that you are asking about a course for nails now, but if you are planning on doing a course in nails in sept at college, then you will end up spending far more money than you need to..ie: paying for a foundation/beginners course and also the college course.

creative have won alot of awards and are used by the majority of people on here, but the company you use is entirely down to your own preference. alot of people will try several companies before settling on one company they like, but at the same time, there are some people who like use a mixture. try using the search box on here to research various posts previously ref training...you'll find loads of info about creative, opi, nsi, ezflow etc...

if it turns out that the course creative is good enough for me to work in shop or mobile tec ect.. i wont need to go college i could do a college course with help paying for it cause i dont work at the moment but i rather get the money together and get a good certificate that everyone knowns and loves i could pay for creative and do college course for free really but i wont need to go college once passed with creative :) if that makes sense lol

also how many courses do you have to do with creative to be fully qualified ? as i dont think i could advertise after a foundation course?
the nearest course with creative is ellisons acadmy excel coventry as anyone done the course there i just wanna double check ive pulled up the right course and it is with creative lol :) sorry to go on and on its the excitement i want to thank everyone for there advice and time to answer and read my posts :)

Hi I would ring around different company's and see what they offer as there is that many different company's and everyone likes different products, I use Nsi and Love it but I also want to do the CND eventually. Some of these fast track company's I wouldn't touch as there is no way you can learn so much in a short time. I would just do your college course your getting it for free I wish I could I have spent a lot and still spending god I wouldn't like to add how much I have spent lol and still spending. Good Luck with what you decide. :0) :)
