:DHi im new on here just need some advice, iv had an offer to set up on my own above a hair salon on maybe a comission based rent they have said they will help me set up and gie me a reduced rate for a little while. At the minute i am employed by a salon and guarenteed around £700 a month for 25 hours a week, now iv had this offer im considering setting up on my own but still only part time as i have a little boy and need to work it around him, but need to guarentee £400 a month at least to just cover my bills that need paying. I have got all my own equipment as i do a little mobile but not enough to leave the salon and just do that on its own.

I have tried to set up on my own before but it wasn a very nice salon and i swear i only earnt about £20n while i was there!!!!!

i need some proper advice because i always let my heart rule my head !!

All advice would be greatly apreciated Thanks xxx

One thing I would say is how much time do you have to devote to a business with your little boy.

To run your own business you need to put in 110% to make it a success, especially at the start.

If you want to enjoy time with you little boy I would be inclined to stay in employment until he is a little older x
