Need help with letter for mentor.

Hi everyone! I need a little help please. I am interested in having someone mentor me as a nail tech. I am wondering what questions should I ask, in my letter to see if person would be willing and if it would be a good fit?
I've been doing nails for 5 years and have learned alot especially from boards. But I just want to be able to take my career to the next level.
