HeyGeeks!

Im getting all confused about gel and which one to use. I do my course next week and i cant wait :green: I am being tought using IBD gel but ive read some things up on here and found that IBD isnt 100% good and i want to give my clients 110%.

I cant use Brisa as i am not trained in Brisa, Can i use ezflow gel it without taking a conversion course? ( i dont want to pay for any conversion courses as im already paying out allot for my courses)

Can i use bio sculpture without being trained with them?
I was going to go with NSI but my tutor said that there products wasnt that good.

your help is much appreciated
xx

I've never used IBD gels so can't really comment.. I know they are used a lot for training in colleges.

You won't be able to use Bio Sculpture without paying for training, although Le Chat nobility is very similar to Bio and you don't have to do a course to order their gel.

I'm surprised at your tutor telling you that NSI is no good:eek:

They are used all around the world and are very popular .. you can order a small starter kit from them and see for yourself.. maybe do a search on here and I'm sure you'll hear some great things.

Good luck with the course and I hope you find a system that you are happy with

I would ring sweet squared not sure what offers are on but they sometimes do the conversion course free when the kit is brought:)

Thanks for your advice sweetie  I think perhaps she had a bad experience with them hence detering me in a different direction. It is hard when one person says oh its great and the other says oh its not that good.

Do you use NSI?

Brisa have a very good conversion offer on at the moment, so I'd ring Sweet squared pronto to find out more. Not entirely sure, but I don't think you'd be able to use ezflow Gel It without conversion training, either?

I always think that trying to use a product range without their training is a bit like trying to bake a cake with no recipe. You don't have the instructions to create it properly! Good luck with whatever you choose. :)

Took your advice just spoke to essex trainer Justine abou the conversion course. I would need her to come out to me as i dont drive and braintree is pretty far from where i live.. she is going to check with the office and see if its all ok so i have my fingers crossed that they will say its ok :green:

Hi,

I use IBD gel... It's a lovely product and looks great on!

Everyone will have their own opinion on which brand is best to use, and will tell you the brand they are using is the best!! I have heard that Nsi or brisa is a good brand to use, so there is no harm in trying different brands until you find the one that best suits you, and are comfortable with. However, you may have to do a conversion course dependinhg on which brand of gel you choose.

I have used NSI and thought it was a good system.. ( started out using their L&P ansd then the gel)..I've used lots of different ones over the years and kinda feel it's down to personal choice.

I love the le chat nobility gels as they are so much like Bio Sculpture, which my clients love (without the huge price tag)

But I'm also doing the cut the cord offer with CND and got my gel a few weeks ago and sorry to be another tech to bang on about CND :), but now I know why everyone on here goes on about it so much... it's a lovely gel, nice to apply, looks beautiful and thin and files really well. I did my friends nails with it two weeks ago and she was here last night and I just couldn't take my eyes off her nails. They were so perfect.. not a bit of lifting, brand new and shiney too like the day they were applied.

I know you don't want to spend any more money which is why I didn't mention it before, but their offer is very good.. HTH x

Yeah i have heard almost everyone mention about brisa and how good it is, and i really do want to give my clients nothing but the best there is and i believe that brisa does that job! So i spoke to the essex trainer and she will be getting back to me today, she told me about the conversion offer they have going and it sounds fantastic!!
xx

Just to say, Justine the Essex CND trainer is absolutely fab! I did my L&P conversion with her, and I love her training, she just seems to make sense to me.

I'll also say, I'm not trained with IBD, but I had 3 gel nails done at the Beauty Show at Excel recently, a Biosculpture, and NSI and an IBD, and the IBD gel nail was by far the best. I've not rebalanced/infilled as this was an experiment to see how well they last, and there is no lifting or discoloration or anything. Other than the nail growing, it's still in absolutely perfect condition. It was and still is absolutely beautiful.

(BTW the NSI nail is also holding up extremely well)

Hiya I use IBD have done for over a year and had no problems at all I love it easy to use and there coloured gels are brilliant. I use NSI L&P and again its brilliant I am really looking forward to the workshop course with them.
Its like evryone says on here everyone likes different products if it works for you then go for it. :)
