New and need spray tan advice plz x

Good evening Geeks,

As you can see this is my very first post I'm a brand new shiny geek :lol:
I have only just stumbles apon this site and have to say it rocks.
I ahve been a qualified beauty therapist for 3 and a bit years and have recently decided to branch out to offering spray tanning parties.
So here is my question -

I have ujst puchased a HVLP500 (the pig) and love it but need some advice on what settings to have it on low,med or high? I know it might sound like a daft question but when I was using the same machine at the salon I worked at it was always pre-set so cant really remember.
Also I wanted to contact some companies for spray tan samples do you know if anyone gives samples? I think I know which brand I am going to use but want to be sure thay I'm not missing out on a really good one that I havn't tried. Also how many clients do you think I could spray in one go with the pig??

Hi,

I dont have a pig but would suggest you get a model/willing victim and try out each seting and see what suits you.

As for samples i think most companies offer them but I went with Sienna X and am increadibly happy with their product and support (i didnt train with them) as are my clients.

Have you been trained in spray tanning as good companies that teach would teach you all about the settings and maintenance of the HVLP.

Yes I was trained over 3 years ago by a very good company but we did not use this particular machine and just wanted to know the settings for the new one I have bought.

just thought I should add I emailed a few different companies on friday about some sample solution and tantrick replied by 8am saturday morning (very impresed) everyone seems to rave about trhis brand so I'm hoping I will like them to x
