Evening all.
I'm new to the site and the industry and was hoping for a little advice.
I'm embarking on a career change and hoping to become a qualified beauty and holistic therapist.
I have applied to begin a 1 year full time level 3 course in Spa Therapies at College in Sept (course leader felt that I would be suitable to start level 3 due to my background and qualifications). The full time course does not begin until Sept so i was keen to do a private course to enable me to start practicing manicures and pedicures in the interim.
I have been researching the various organisations that offer accreditation but am keen to know which are best/most prestigious and looked upon most favourably by insurer's?
There is a beauty school in swindon that offers courses accredited by babtac and the beauty guild. Are these well regarded in the industry?
Thanks for any advice you could offer x
