Candy :D

They are brilliant, I love paint freehand with my acrylic paints as you can used two different colour to create shadows.

Wish i had my acrylic paints at work now!!!

Well Done Loo they look fab
Cant see any major problems with your fingers Lol look normal to me babe.

I think they are brill!
i think i am quite good at the nail art, but have trouble with getting flowers to look that good, can you talk me through how you achieved the petals?

i think i use water based paints, because they wipe off dried varnish if you make a mistake, does acrylic paint work the same way?

thanks in advance,

Love, Beck.

Hello thanks to everyone for your kind comments, Becks not sure if the acrylics can be wiped off with water, I think they can but I havent tried it!! To do the petals I used a small artist brush which goes down to a point at the tip then make one half of the petal up at a time by doing a stroke and gradually lightening and lifting off the presure with the brush till it gets to the fine tip. Sorry does that make any sense?LoL  hope so!!! I then added another colour for the shading.

yes it does make sense, thanks for that,i think i will look for some acrylic paint at olympia, ask one of the peeps on the stand.

all i need to do now is have a go, and by the looks of your handy work, i'll need tons of practice to get it as perfect as yours!

thanks for showing us
Love Beck.

They are great !! do you airbrush ?;)

Beck,
If you want to try your hand at acrylic paints, why dont you pop into somewhere like 'The Works'. You can buy the paint there for 99p. Its a good size too. I think you'll find the 'specialist' stuff, smaller, overpriced ... and in my opinion ... no better!
Then you'll still have lots of pennies to spend on loads of great stuff at Olympia!
BTW acrylic paint does wipe off (if you make a mistake) while still wet. Doesnt once dry but, of course you still need a top coat to keep it tip-top.

I think they look very neat & nice!!! They really put me in a 'spring' mood.
