New student! help lots of questions

ok were do i start? well im a new cosmo student..but im really more intrested in nails though. will you please help.
what exaculy are popits?
were do i get them? b/c we dont use those at the salon i go to school in..we use nothing but l&p
what does curing under the lamp mean?
i see it getting done at pro. salons
can i use that for l&p or gel or pop its?

You use a UV lamp to cure Gel products that are used to overlay fingernails.

There are some L&P products that cure with a UV Lamp but you would not use it for other L&P systems.

Yes, you can use PopIts and gel but they are easier and quicker to use with L&P.
