new to nails, cloudy tip after blending

Hi ive just started training at home with essential nails using the nail trainer and doing sets on my own nails. im doing the acrylic overlay course (as well as maintenence and nail art) and im having a few problems but ill start with the first one.i have mastered blending the tip to the natural nail so that there is no line but i get a cloudy white area over the remaining tip. (inbetween the blended edge and the start of the free edge)

any advice would be a big help thanks

Hi. When you blend the tips you have to make sure that you blend them right down to the end of the free edge, otherwise you get a white patch like you are doing. I graduated from essential nails with a credit on the arcylic overlay course, but was marked down because of this.
