Hiya everyone

i am in the process of studing for my nvq 2 in nail extensions.

i have a nail trainer hand and have been practising on it, however the college kit that was given really doesnt work for me! The acrylic is a UV setting one and i want to use the standard setting acrylic.

i am not confident with practising on people yet, hence the nail trainer.

my question is for training and practising could i buy the salons system kit to train with as it doesnt cost too much but at least i can be using something more like what you use in a salon.

any advice would be great!

I'm sure you would be able to get hold of one seeing as you are in training,

You could try essential nails, they sell hand trainers so I would have thought they'd do one suitable:
Dream Acrylic Products

Or Fusion by united beauty as you don't have to be trained by them to use their products:
Buy Fusion products from Beauty Express

Or NSI because again I don't think you need to have converted to them to buy their products:
Home - Nail Systems International (UK)

Millennium is a good one thats quite cheap to start off with when training:
