Hi everyone:

First of all I wanted to say what a huge help this site has been. I am a newbie (I am taking my exam on Monday) and have improved leaps and bounds from the help I have received on this site. I was having HUGE problems with tip blending and with a lot of practice I am happy to say that I am no longer having issues in this area... I think my skills are coming along nicely :)

I live in Canada and am using LCN products. I am curious if you have any advice on covering imperfections on the nail? Would it be worthwhile to just use a pink sealant? I find for my french gel nails they look fine, but if I am using just the clear gel for a more natural look, you can see some imperfections of the nail.

Thanks again!

Many of us are using coverage gels and L&P to both elongate the look of the nail plate and to cover the nail regrowth and other imperfections. Do LCN not offer coverage gels for this purpose? I woluld say that a good 90% of clients go for this look now so if you have not gotit to offer them I think youwill be missing out.

Thanks so much for the feedback. I am unsure to be honest, but I will ask my instructor next time I am in. I have a feeling they use the selant for this, but like I said.. I am so new to this I have no clue. I do know that the UK seem to have cutting edge practices and techniques so I am keeping my eye on this site for some great advice and upcoming trends :)

Just an update that I did find the LCN product that does this and it's called a camouflage gel. Only problem is I am not sure at which point to apply it. If I want a really natural looking nail (without the white tips) what is the best way to apply it?

Thanks again for all the help!

It think, that yours Educator or Customers Center of LCN must to say you, how you working with it.
