when the hand in the lamp has cured and i am still painting the other hand (im slow) is it ok for the hand in the lamp to stay in the lamp? seems a silly question but i didn't know whether it may over cure it obviously the lights go off as its on a timer but i didn't know whether some energy woudl still be bouncing around or something

Humor me please, thank you

If I'm still working on the other hand, I always get my clients to leave their hand in the lamp after the curing time has finished, as a lot of them tend to waft their hands around and attract dust and fluff etc! xx

Yes it's fine to leave their hand in the lamp. I prefer this as I then know where their hands are at all times and it stops them fiddling about and ruining them.
