Morning all ! Ok , so I have trained in basic waxing using clean n easy roller system which I love and feel confident in legs , arms n bikini. I'm
At the point where I want to specialise in this treatment as I just love it !!
Basically I want to become the wax queen in my local area of north Wales as I feel there is a market for someone as passionate as me. For me to achieve my goal I need the best training in this field . If you had all the money in the world who would you train with ? Male & female waxing? Any advice would be greatly appreciated !! Have a great day and thanks for reading this x ;)

I haven't personally trained with her yet but I think Kim Lawless has a great reputation, she is the wax queen :) I've been waxing for about 6 years now and I have also done an advanced waxing course but I am still considering doing 1 of her courses as she can teach you her own technique and speed waxing. Hopefully some other geeks who have done the training will come along soon

i've just not long trained with Kim Lawless & if you have the money you defiantly need to train with her, she's amazing x

Sold !!! I'm on to it ;) very excited !!! Glad I've discoverd salon geek as my friends all think I'm sad getting excited over waxing ect !!! You all get it and understand :) x

Andy Rouillard at Axiom... :)
Both Kim and Andy are PR ambassadors :) If you search on here for Axiom you should see some of his old articles and posts - he doesn't post here any more but he really is great at what he does!

Than you !! Looks perfect ;)

When I was looking to train in any of the treatments that I offer I did a bit if research and spent time looking through threads on forums like SG but I also googled the names of the trainers and the training schools to see what people have to say about them outside of forums, to see the reputation they have and any reviews good or bad before making the decision.
Good luck .. Jack

Thank you ! I have decided to train with Andy ;)

You'll love him! :) If only I could steal him and make him live under my stairs I'd be a happy girl! :)
Sadly I guess I shall have to share him! Do say hi from me! :)

(If you say Hrafna Tree he'll know lol)

Does andy only teach male waxing?

I went on a pr wax afternoon in London at the docklands where you had demos of all the wax when I went it was free but I believe there is a very small charge now andy showed waxing everywhere it was a fantastic day learnt loads xxx the small charge is refunded against products xxx

I recommend Penny Turvey. I trained with her in hot wax and I really enjoyed it. She's also a PR expert waxer. Penny Turvey | Beauty Training.

Having lurked on the forum for some time I can say with an element of certainty that Kim Lawless and Andy Rouillard are highly recommended.

Just to clarify that the PR expert Network is not about training...

Membership criteria is that therapists only use PR waxes, have been trained by either Kim or Andy and that they spend a certain amount per year on wax.

Members are listed as part of this and as I believe there is a plan to have a website with a list of the expert network.

Hello Jack
I hope you are well. I enjoyed the PR Discovery day @ Docklands, very informative.
Have you any tips on doing a full body wax? where on the body would you start first.
Kind Regards
Michelle
Ps...You should start up your own in house workshop for therapists who work alone.

Sorry to jump in but start from the feet upwards if you're just starting out doing mens waxing. Once you become expert, then you'll be applying wax to a number of body parts at the same time, and that's what makes you quick. HTH's

Hello Kim
Thank you for your kind reply. Yes I am new to mens waxing and have not done a full body wax before, just sections. I will give it a go and start with the feet.......Michelle x
