Hi all,
So I have recently qualified in level 3 nail technology and it is something I want to get more involved with.
I currently work full time 9-5 with 1/6 Saturdays. I rent a house with my partner which I’m 99% sure the tenancy states that I cannot do business and I drive.
My idea was to look for a salon that would be happy for me to work 1 day a week (Saturdays) with the odd weekday when I work my Saturday. All of the advertisements I have seen so far are for self-employed stations but I’m not clued up on how this works if I would benefit from this from 1 day a week. I would prefer to be employed because it’s a safer option.
can anyone give me the pros and cons of both? And how I would start off as self employed if I chose this option. What is the process? I have no idea where to start!!
