Newsletter ideas?

Hi geeks
I'm trying to put together a monthly email newsletter at the moment and was looking for some ideas of what to include each month. So far I have :-
General update section to include something along the lines of what's been happening in the salon over last month/upcoming month etc
Treatment of the month
Product of the month
Facebook promotion section.

Can anyone help with some more ideas that I could include?

~ Nutrition tips
~ Motivational quotes
~ Spotlight on an ingredient used within your products
~ At home product usage tips
~ Pre-treatment advice

How about something seasonal so this month you could look at skin care and the sun?

I sat down with a school calendar and a community calendar so we could se their events to help our newsletter and crosspromote. Then you can hit topics that are important to the members of your community.

Just thought I'd resurrect this post and see how you're getting on with your newsletter.

Does anyone send them out? What do you write about?

I send one every month and it proves popular writing about the different treatments I do, self help tips and new products that are coming out.
