Hi all

Recently done my ezflow l&p new to this industry and was hoping to wrk self emplyed in a salon but all the vacancys i have seen want experianced techs how do i get my foot on the ladder ?

Go into local salons and ask if they have any vacancies for newly trained techs, even if you don't get paid for a while, the experience will be fab.

Totally agree with Valencian, you cannot beat proper experience and the only way you can get it, is by doing nails.

By working in a salon at a cheaper start rate, you will gain experience and get knowledge as well.

i agree ut can be really hrd getting into a salon when you are newly trained!! maybe just explain to salon owners that u want to gain the experience - im sure if u show that you are enthusiastic, and reliable they will jump at the chance of taking u on!! good luck x x
