Nightmare on my face!!

Hi All,

Last week I used no 7 total renewal micro-dermabrasion exfoliator on my skin and have had a terrible break out of about 7 spots on the left hand side of my face. They haven't formed a head or anything, just red and swollen.

When I put make up on it seems to cake around the spots and make them stand out. I have tried wiping my face with some facial cleansing wipes which have vitamin e and organic rose hip oil in them but nothing!

I have to get rid of them before next Friday as havea big night out planned.

Any ideas of how to get rid of them before then?

First of all, put the kit in the bin so you are never tempted to use it again :lol:

Over the counter products, don't ya just love 'em!

Second, try not to squeeze the spots as they will take much longer to heal. Squeezing makes them swollen and red, which makes them look a lot worse and also makes them harder to cover with make up.

Cleanse tone and moisturise with some mild and gentle products and stay away from the spots! We can't really recommend professional products without seeing your skin, but just take it easy on the skin and avoid anything harsh or drying. I'm thinking maybe even cleansing with jojoba oil may help.

Apply some tea tree oil (not neat) overnight to help take the swelling down. I have found anti histamines work well too.

If they are deep under the surface they should go down if you leave them alone. If they are closer to the surface then they may come to a head so wont disappear and heal in a week.

Best thing to do is pop into a salon that specialises in skin care and see what their advice is. Its very hard to help if a therapist cannot see them.

I have seen so much damage caused by these kits they really should be banned!

..and the best natural remedy of all? drink water. All you have to do is drink a 2 litre bottle of water a day and you will see a difference in about 3 days. So grab yourself a bottle of Evian and refill it and flush out those toxins.

Why do you think all the stars have a bottle of water stuck in their hands all the time?
