None Soaker Wanted

What a great poll/thread the soaking during manicure is

Would any of you "say no to h2o" lot please let me know your manicure routine, I would love to stop soaking and have done with some clients and just used oil to help loosen cuticle. Maybe there is a tutorial on here, could a kind geek help or point me in the right direction :hug:

i dont soak.
sanitise hands.
apply cuticle remover.
trim/file to shape.
remove non living tissue.
clean off remover.
apply cuticle oil and massage in.
apply masque.
remove masque with hot admp flannel.
apply scrub.
remove scrub with hot damp flannel.
apply more cuticle oil.
apply lotion and massage .
buff nails to a shine.
clean nails and apply polish.

dont soak either

sanitise hands.
trim/file & shape nails & remove debris
apply cuticle eraser and cuticle oil and massage in as a moisture pack
remove non living tissue.
remove debris from edges with probe
apply lotion and put in heated mittens
remove mitts and massage.
remove lotion from nail plate with scrubfresh until squeeky
apply base coat and polish etc...

well I must say that I too would love to join the no-soak gang, I use solar products, would I be able to remove the scrub with a hot flannel?

Somebody else on here told me thats the way she always removes the solar products

what about using CND 'Citrusoak' or 'scentsations washes (as i do during my manicure process)?

would you just get your client to wash there hands with it before the manicure rotinue or would you stop using it altogether in a non-soak manicure?

what about you mobile girls - how do you manage a hot damp flannel??

I use citrussoak and water from a dispener,use with a gauze pad it removes all traces of cuticle remover and makes soaking unecessary (sp).

Sanitise with cool blue before commencing the treatment,hth's
