Stupid question but I have someone booked in for massage who has had coronavirus earlier during lockdown and made a full recovery

I don’t know why this would make a difference to anything but does anyone know of any reason why she shouldn’t have treatments as normal and should I ask any other questions or should her covid form say anything different?

I don’t really know what I’m asking lol but this is the first ex patient that I’ve had and want to get it right.

Thank you

You think it should be fine but would you ever patch test the oils you use in the treatments?
There is evidence that the virus affects the immune system making people more sensitive to some chemicals so maybe ask if they’ve noticed any unusual reactions to shampoos, moisturising creams, detergents etc. ?

It’s still early days so no-one really knows the longer term effects.

Thanks, got her to come for patch test this evening. Good idea. This is some thing we’re dealing with [emoji51]
