Nose waxing?

I'm only trained in brow waxing but I'm asking this only to use it on myself....

I've seen these glorious plastic plug looking things for waxing your nose and Im dying to have a go (my nose gets soo hairy! hahaha)

My question is, can I use my regular wax pot and creme wax for this?

I used to do noses in the salon, use the hard wax and get it on a thin spatula and make sure you get the wax all around the nostril. Squeeze above the wax when hard and pull
