Hi, oh dear that's very bad hair .... whatever you do not use it ,
take close up piccys of those little hair bulbs
with all the labels intact for your proof and ask for a refund straight away

these little bulbs on the tips of the hair means it muddled and its not root to point correct in fact its simply rubbish

If you use it will bunch and loop and climb up on itself and it will matt up very soon after a wash or so
its very poor quality hair , may I ask you how long is it ?
because this hair usually comes in very long lengths from long haired village women , they throw all their hair balls from their hair brushes
in large village wicker basket for collection to obtain a monthly payment

This is why the root bulb stays on the hair , as its come out of the scalp naturally
but its all muddled up and as they don't spend hours separating it back the right way round (which would make it remy again) because remy is a french word and it means (to be put back in the same way)

but they dont have the time to do this so they just coat it and sell it like this ,
and this is what makes its very bad hair and very wrong for it to be sold like this :(
you know yourself instinctively somethings wrong with it as soon as you see those little bulbs within the hair or on the wrong ends of it well done for noticing it and inspecting it before you actually used it :(
please let us know what happens x minky

that's not a good sign.
install 10 extensions into a friends hair in one area. it will reveal its self.

It is 18" hair, colour 4. Dont worry I won't be using it... It annoys me so much that they can write on their site it is remy when it blatantly isn't! I now need to go back to square 1 and find a site that offers REMY I tipped hair as I will not be using this site. Advice please guys! I am going to return this batch-I'll let you know if I get refunded ok....

Try Bohyme by celebrity elite you wont have any problems at all

www.celelbrityelite.co.uk

I have used this hair for years and only ever had one bad batch to which the client and I both comlained and they did change it.

its a shame. that this happens contact them and ask why this happen.
at least give them a chance to explain then selves.
maybe they got the order mixed up?

personally i don't deal with suppliers that offer both remi or non remi.
remi of course is preferd
the funny thing is after doing hair extension for over 20 years i have used both remi and non remi.
my findings are...... there is no difference or little difference!

you might think im mad for this statement but ask yourselves this question.
have you received hair that is remi and its bad?
the answer from most honest specialists would be yes!
well i used hair that is non remi at its been great!
especially virgin hair.
but after struggling to provide a full color range to customers i needed to explore another avenue and provide a wider range of colors to my customers. so i did some deep investigations.

hair extensions are usually bad if its miss treated or over treated!
let me simplify this for you.
most suppliers buy form manufactures that have very poor quality control environments and working conditions.
they don't even know what we want or what is good quality hair is! and they will swear it is the best ever till there blue in the face!
most of these manufactures make wigs but wigs are not the same.
i believe manufactures must have a hairdresser that is their quality control officer, the the supplier too must have a hairdresser as a technicians to double check the supplies when the arrive before they go to market.
without a set up like this it doom waiting.
hope this makes sense

hi i use this hair i would be extremely surprised if its not remy they have sent you.. and i would call as they are very helpful and would sort it out asap if something is wrong. ive been using them for 4 months and have installed in over 50 people in that time and i know its remy hair and they re-use twice.
never had one problem in that time..
they dont do non remi so i would contact them and see what they say after all if they dont know there is a problem they cant fix it..

i agree!
or check it!

The celebrityelite only seem to have wefted or nail tips...no I tips like i need?

Can you not pretip the hair yourself this way your getting great quality hair.

yes its more worthwhile that way.. if you can tip yourself. i always buy wefts from hairextension-shop.com and pre-tip unless emergency (i but tips) you get much better value for your money and can choose how much grams per strand etc

Hi, leonibb, :) yes you have had no problems with this company and they seem rather helpful too , so it definitely sounds like she has been extremley unlucky and has received a bad batch :smack: which really sucks , hopefully she can get a refund  x minky

I contacted the site saying: 'I ordered this hair as it is supposed to be cuticle correct but at the ends of the hair I can see lots of little bulbs...which tell me that this is the root of the hair at the ends so the cuticles are facing the wrong way?'....And their reply was...
'Hi, We do not agree that this is the case. However, as stated we do not have any problems with this hair and we would ask that you return the package for a refund.'

So i don't know what to think??

I had that prob with them but i rang them and they sorted it. (very helpful)

The little bulbs - I think alot of the time, they aren't the root - that's was chopped off but if you hold the tip against your straightners you'll see it fizzle back and melt where ther hair had been coated in plastic.

I can vouch with Leonnib though that their virgin temple hair is really good.

As a rule - hair at £9.99 a bundle isn't going to be amazing quailty.

Hi Tammy, I have seen those bits on coated hair too , but it looks slightly different doesn't it ?.... slightly smaller in size than bulbs , and more brittle and a bit harder to see , they sometimes just come off in your fingers, anyway that sounds hopeful especially if it turns out to be just the excess coating,
Enhance U do let us know how you get on and if its just the excess coating ?

firstly these straighteners are terrible hair in general.
secondly if this hair burns at an accelerated pace that simply its been over processed and wont last. but maybe you don't need it to last.

thirdly they don't coat in plastic. it not the fruit market.
they chemically straighten it. the process is very similar to our keratin straightening. but once it comes off watch out!
some times hair is so bad it can give you issues on the first wash.
cheers

Apologies - silicone coating - it still fizzles back when held against straightners - reacting very much like plastic would against a heat source and leaves a slight residue on said heat source?

If it's not the coating - anyone know what it is?

Like i said - I sent it back. I hadn't bought from the website i bought in reply to an email and paid a lot more than £9.99 a bundle. :irked:

Hi Tammy , sometimes the bits you see frizzling back can be due to all those chemical coatings,

Coatings can be called called simethicone or dimethicone and probably new ones too
Take a look at Jeni's helpful hints in the link below  x minky

Good article (BUT NOT THE ANSWER GUYS)
It`s tough to tell simply because there are so many types of silicone's and they can be used in combination with each other. You can’t simply say: all silicone's are bad. The answer to your dilemma is simple.
The ends of you hair extensions are frying under heat due to over processing (not the plastic coating melting). If your a hairdresser you would might have seen this happen to you when blow drying a over processed blond ends. Some blondes in fact cant grow their hair due to this very problem. The blonde OVER PROCESSED HAIR is guilty for being fragile (especially on older ends of the hair) and over time known for chewing itself up starting from the ends. This why high blond girls have trouble growing their hair.Your experincing the same thing except out of a packet.

Simethicone is made up of poly(dimethylsiloxane), it also the silicone known in cosmetics and personal-care products as dimethicone, and silica gel hence the name silica + dimethicone its just shortened to simethicone.
This is often supplied in personal care products as an emulsion, it like a stabalizer to stabilized with nonionic surfactants, pH modifiers, and preservatives. Simethicone is probably one most well-known by doctors as an orally-administered medication with the purpose of reducing gas in the intestinal tract. Colicky suffering babies are given a few drops of this that can be bought over-the-counter medication and used desperatend tired parents.

blah blah blah was the hair blonde?

very interesting as one of the first suppliers i used i only had problems with the blonds like 613 or 60.. but never with dark brown .. i couldnt understand it and at least 70% of my clients have blond hair so not very good .. so i just looked elsewhere and dont have that problem with my current supplier but that definetely makes sense..
