Hi everyone

I did my Nouveau training yesterday was fab very high standard of training but my head is swimming with all the info and what skilled work it is..

Im just after reassurance it gets easier really! I know its like anything and the more you do the better you will become but think I am just overwhelmed cause I want to do so well and I am panicking due to the skill involved to produce amazing lashes..

Thanks in advance xxx

AM nouveau trained and I can offer reassurance, its like everything else,it gets easier I promise. You just need to take the plunge and practise, practise and practise. Keep referring to your manual, dont be afraid to ask lots of questions of your trainer (I am sure that they will not mind you getting in touch if you get stuck).

Ask some friends to let you practise on them and I have to be honest here, I trained in November and I practised like crazy and its only in the last cpuple of months that i feel completely at ease with what I am doing.

also spend time learning how to pick up those lashes until it becomes 2nd nature.

Best of luck, and if I can be of any help, please let me know!

Hi
I recently completed a course with Lash Perfect and was very impressed with the standard of training although as you say there is so much to take in and by the end of the day your head is swimming. I have found it is the quantity of lashes to be applied which I find most difficult as I get to a stage where I can't seem to find any more lashes to apply them to although there must be as I probably at the moment am only applying 30-40 lashes per eye. Oh and picking up the lashes, and separating the natural lashes are two other things which sometimes cause me a headache.
Tigi is right that it is practice, practice and more practice - like you I want to be great straight away but that will only come with keeping at it.
Keep going you will get there
xx:hug:

Thanks guys i apprechiate your reassurance i think its just soooo much to take in it freaked me out a bit and im a bit of a perfectionist so i know its going to take a lot of hard work and practice.. it makes me feel better that you both felt the same..

Hi Tams, Lauren here! I'm sure you must be the Tams I trained. Just to reassure you, almost everyone goes into a panic after the first day. Just keep practising and it will come with time. We're always there for you should you need to ring in, or get emailing me! Dp as many sets as you can fit in, beacause you can very easily lose confidence at this stage. Good Luck, and you know where we are..x

Hi Lauren

Yes its me :)
I have my first practice set tonight I am very nervous but she's a good freind so that helps...It is daunting but its cause I want to do so well but you guys are fab and I know you are at the end of the phone... Wish me luck! xxxxxx

Hi Tams

It does get easier the more you do it and i've been so impressed with the results that I have had.

I've got a real loyal customer base now who can't live without them!! lol

Good luck lashing - its one of my favourite treatments I do :)

I did my training with Lauren and Holly in March and they are lovely people, always happy to help when you ring up about something. I would reccomend Nouveau Lash training , the application is very fiddly but with practice it will get easier. Plus they do have the ongoing courses to help you develop your skills further a bit like skill building and master classes as with CND.

Good luck with your practising :)

I was exactly the same as you, except I hated it after the training thought I'd never be any good at it! But literally after forcing myself to do sets of lashes I gradually started to get better and really started to like it!! I've only been doing it since March and already I am looking into doing the masters as I now love the lashes!! Good luck hun and it will come in time. xx

Thanks everyone for the encouragement it has really helped and yes the Nouveau girls and traing are in my opinion second to none,, :)

Well first set for a first attempt didnt go too badly and my friend was happy, i could have done wth getting a few more lashes in ech eye but they still looked good despite me spilling glue on my new couch ( will lash adhesive get rid of this?) her dog sniffing me, the phone going off every five mins and her fella watching and being an inch away at times as he was so intrigued..:)

I will keep on practicing like mad as I think a lot of the fear was in my head but thanks to you all - you can always rely on fellow geeks to boost you when you are feeling anxious about things..practice makes perfect eh!

Thanks again guys xxxxxxxxxxxxx
