I have been doing Nouveau LVL lashes for a year now and my technique is very good. I am experiencing some problems with the batches of the product kit, I believe it does not give the same result each application.

The kit has a 3 month expiry date. If you buy the kit and use it immediately it gives good results. At 2 months it does not give good result and a couple occassions it did not lift. I reported the problem and got replacement kits. A few months later, I am finding I am getting the same problem.

I have had discussions with Nouveau in the past about the process in which they extract the solution and store them in syringes (products in the kit are stored in syringes with a cap). It is not a vacuum method, it is an air tight method and therefore minor oxidation of the product can occur. Hence the kit is recommended to be used within 3months.

The minimum order is 5 LVL kits. So for example: I order 5 now, I carry out a treatment this week, this client will come back in 2 months. The returning client's LVL treatment reports the lift did not last as long as the last time, the lashes dropped after a couple weeks. This client has had 5 LVL treatments before so she knows aftercare and what results to expect.

I can't just order a fresh kit when I get a booking for LVL. This makes no business sense.

Once the client has an LVL treatment, whether the results of the eyelash lift is good or not, a chemical process has been activated on the natural lash and therefore no further treatment can be done to correct the lift. The client must wait for the new cycle of natural lashes to grow before having another LVL.

If I get a bad kit, this is no good for the client or my business. It is a tricky situation. At the moment I don't have confidence in the quality of LVL kits and am considering stopping the service. When an LVL treatment is done correctly the results are truely amazing. I really love this treatment and found it easy to market. It would be a real shame to have to make a business decision to stop this service.

What advice do you have on this situation? Thank you for listening...

Delivery is fast .. it makes more sense to me to order less product more often than a bigger order and have it go past its use by date! I would make any treatment price changes needed to include cost of delivery or a proportion therof.

As I agree Gigi, I do think the problem lies in the fact that theres a minmum order of 5, so she would have to have clients enough for all 5.

But don't you have that? I'm not familiar with the system, but is there a big difference of performance in a month, then 5 doesn't seem to be a whole lot, but don't quite know that.

Karen - yes that's correct. One month after purchase is good, 2mth is not consistent, forget about about 2months. Product should be lasting up to 3months.

For one LVL booking I would have to order a minimum of 5 kits = £42 + delivery.

Treatment charge is £60, the sums does not add up to make this service profitable.

Hmm I can se where you are comming from then.

Have you tried raising the problem with Nuveau? As far as I can tell they are a very proffesional company, maybe you could make a deal and be able to buy one at the time for a period untill you have enough clients to benefit from 5? Maybe it'll cost a bit more re delivery, but would save a bit when you don't have to throw any out:)

Hoe you find a solution..

Great news - Nouveau said I can order one at a time.

FANTASTIQUE. I am a very happy customer.:green::):confused::lol:

You charge £60 for an LVL, is that in Harrods?

No not in Harrods, I am based in London. Nouveau's recommended treatment cost is from £69.

Great news hun, then it's all worked out and you can start getting them clients in, so eventually you would have to order 5 at the time:lol::hug:

And it gets better... what timing...

I have just received a letter from Nouveau regarding the relaunch of LVL products.

The new kit has individual sachets of each product which will allow a more consistent lift. Can't wait to try new kit. Will report back later this week.

I have to say this company is business smart.
