Hiya Geeks,
Just went to undo my glue and the nozzle bit came off aswell and is stuck in the glue lid! Not sure how to go about 'unsticking' it...any suggestions? x

Dear Lindsay,
Pliers!!! And never a bad idea to have a back-up for instances such as this. However, if it is in a tube(like gel bond)you can snip off the bottom and use it that way.

Hiya try putting the lid in a cup of hot water wait a few minutes then try and pull out with snips xx

The exact same thing has happened to me!!!! I went to use it yesterday and discovered that the nozzle is well and truly lodged in the bloomin lid! I have been dipping an orange stick in the glue and using it that way. Thats only because I am still learning on the nail tainer and only have one nail trainer glue.
I am going to try to get it out using the hot water method. Hope it works.

xxx

i always wipe the top now and you can also put a tiny bit of oil in the lid it stops it from sticking !! and saves loads of money ha ha x

Ahhhhhh I tried the hot water and my nozzle is as stuck as it was before!!!! I think I am gonna have to stick to the orange stick dipping method. And purchase another nail trainer glue. I am going to ask a really syupid question, but why can't you use proper glue?

You can use proper glue,I used NSI brush on you have no worries about the nozzel getting stuck then either lol..xxx
OH do you mean glue glue? like super glue?...not a good idea chicken..x

no I didn't mean super glue lol I was wondering if it was ok to use nail glue that you use on real people lol

 I thought you did, yes you can use any nail glue babes, like I said I used nsi and I used Gelbond as well but I prefer brush on but they are both great, if you are getting air bubble problems tho, the gelbond is great for them. hth..xxx

Throw it away and buy 2 next time mate so you've got a spare.....it drives you mad:lol:

Will do. Thanks

I think I will try that gel bond stuff. Where do you get it from? bubbles are driving me scatty. No amount of rocking gets rid of them. Some days I feel like throwing the sodding hand and glue out the window! where can I get gel bond from?

Is that a Creative product mate??

Yes creative, you can get it from Ellisons, I think

Sorry to seem dopey, but I but this is a new world for me. Is there a website that sells it? Is it like super sticky? am I likely to stick my fingers together? I have had a few incidents even with the nail trainer glue. Lol!!!!!!

It's not that gelbond is stickier then other adhesives, it's thicker and fills the gap with awkward nails.

I had some great advice to stop this happening, put a drop of cuticle oil in the lid of the glue every few days. I have not had this problem for months now
