Title says it all really.

I use NSI products and have just purchased some black gel as i really wanted to have ago at black tips well it was a disaster!! The gel was very runny ( yes i did stir it) and i just couldnt get a solid colour:cry: I wondered if it was me or if any other NSI geeks have had this trouble??

I have the nsi gels and I have the black one too. it is probably about the same consistency as the paint on white. I find it is better to not drag the gel with the brush too hard... if you apply the gel and kind of float your brush over the top, it leaves a nice layer. If you put too much pressure on then it pushes the gel out to the sides. I find two light coats of the colours is needed but not too thick. hth

I use trosani not nsi but i have some colours runny as well. My instructor told me to cure one by one and do 3 coats, i tried it and the result is good. She said I could mix some builder gel with it as well, i didn't try it yet but with 3 coats and good curing, it was good.
